Maybe a combo of a few things.
I would rule out a medical craving. I went through a spell where a shrimp within a 10 mile radius was not safe,
Frozen bag of tiny ones for salad,
Big one previously frozen, drain off and spray with that fake butter in the micorwave.

Even buying the Romain noodles with shirmp in the name. I was eating shirmp every day some manner.

After two weeks the dh said that is not right, I went to the doctors and that was when the hypo thyroid was diagx.
Since I am on the synthroid, the only time the shrimp are in threat, is a holiday.

So I don't know when they do followup blood work on you, a thryroid test and other things are not standard, a good work up may find that from dieting your body need or crave a carbo, protein or vitiman of some type.

Just brainstorming.
Hope that you do not feel too guilty, the walk for the Art burnt off some calories too..
