dear bobby

i wish things were different so you could keep him. look he is getting more exercise than being stuck in a stupid crate, so don't bash yourself up about that either. i am sure he is soooo much better off right now. and no doubt he will adopt his new family. he will miss you at first, but affection from others will help him get over it. dogs don't have as many hangups as humans - when someone loves them they are receptive... and will love them right back! ;)

sending you some hugs. i wish i knew how to comfort you.

Is there a park where you could take him just to be out side and not stuck in your apartment? or is it too hot?
it has been hot here ....

your post was very comforting....you are right....i am hopiing that with a family he will get over his separation anxiety faster and feel more secure with more people and he will get a lot more exercise which will tire him. You are so right they don't have as many hangups as we have and they are very receptive to love and the people will be schnauzer lovers. thank you. I just called the number again and got the husband. he said his wife wasn't home but she will call me when she gets back.

it is too hot...i have a big terrace and won't take him out there either...i don't want to see my electrical bill because i have left the air conditioner on non stop. I also am so depressed I don't feel like facing the outside world.

interesting. i had heard of the SSRIs being used - on dogs and cats - but not the other drug classes... woww. kinda scary. think about the side effects they can have on us... the animals can't tell us... :o

there is a little glimmer of hope i am keeping Luc. robert came over and fixed the bark collar. I spent twenty minutes in the bathroom with the door closed and Luc didn't bark and it wasn't because of the collar. that gave me hope.
if the woman calls me i will tell her i need a little more time to decide to see if the bark collar works. i also spent time outside the door this time and luc didn't bark...i don't understand what is happening.

Dear Bobby,

maybe Luc is just settling down. moving in with you and the cats was a big upheaval for him. it was good. but perhaps he needed to figure out he was safe and that when you left did not mean he was moving back to crateland.

it's ok to take more time and see how things go if you think you might be ok with things.
