Wow, Indiana in my area has had some real strong storms this afternoon
and early evening. So much so that the hail did some big damage to
vehicles I think. THere are trees down. It seems next door at my son's
house there is a tree down in front and one down in back. But the thing
that matters is they are fine. There was lots of damage looking on the
tv. And from what Dale said, when he went to look all over town.

The tv, was announcing damage in surrounding areas. But the amazing
thing is that the one place we needed good weather, I didn't hear of
any bad. Hoping its true. Derrick is at Indiana Beach and on the
Madame Carroll this evening for a dance. With 4-H, he has been wanting
to go on this trip for about 4 or so years. But each year I haven't been
comfortable with the chaperone's so I haven't let him go. This years
chaperone is perfect so I allowed him to go. And he is riding with her.

But then this weather, so I really hope they are having good weather.
Then to top it off. We are supposed to be on a only out if you are going
too or back from work.

So life is just a rollercoaster in my area it seems.

I'm glad people are safe.

I'm much jumpier about weather now than I was when I was younger. I'd like to live some place where the weather is uneventful.

I do know it has been a really rainy few days here. And its hit and
miss with the storms. I realize it has been nice when it misses us.
But we can only be lucky so long.

Well it was a quiet day. Then tonight once again it hit big time.

But Derrick and I were out for his birthday. We had gone to
eat out at Pizza Hut and went to Walmart. Were heading home
in the pouring rain. And I believe we had a little more hail maybe.

It was so bad that I almost had to pull over and wait it out a while.
But because its hard to see on our highway. I didn't because you
can get hit to easy. So I just took it quietly and was very
careful.

Home at last and the young man noticed how bad it was.
