Our yoga teacher tonight reminded us that doing yoga can bring up emotional issues.
On the way home from yoga class in the car I sobbed about my friend I lost on June 26 to a long illness. She was the mother of my college dorm mate and has been a mother to me since college 25 years ago. She nurtured me and let me nurture her back -- things my mother can't do. I miss her. I keep in touch with her daugther (my former dorm mate), but J is not good about talking about her feelings. This might sound wierd, but sometimes I am relieved that I am having "honest" emotions, emotions that can be recognized.....rather than some kind of generic bipolar/stress/anxiety/fatigue/......
