Thank you, Mari. <3
My heat is still working :D I'm not feeling very well at all today... I woke up at 10, but I'm absolutely exhausted- far beyond the regular MS fatigue. I was burning up, took my temp and it's 100.1, so I took 2 tylenol. I'm bleeding heavier now. I'll be watching for any changes- I'll go to the ER if necessary. I have fleeting thoughts about all the crap going on, but I'm too tired to be very bothered by any of it right now- have to focus on taking care of whatever's going on. My goal for the day was to go food shopping. Even though it's very close by, I don't feel safe to drive. I'm going to have a nap- I hope I can wake up before tomorrow (when I get like this I usually can't). If I can get up, I'll ask my husband to drive me so I can pick up a few things. Good night all. |
i am sorry you are feeling so poorly Kay.
i hope the tylenol and some rest helps. i wonder how long it will take for the Tysabri effects to wear off, assuming it is that... any idea? sleep well. sending you healing thoughts. ~ waves ~ |
I am so sorry you are going through all this sh@t....you are too strong...i think it would be neat if you allowed yourself a long good cry...some release...
i wonder if sleep helps you get some release bobby |

I guess we don't know what the fever is because it could be related to the med. The heavy flow concerns me but I feel better knowing that you would go to the ER for that or if the fever edges up any more (or stays the same too long). Quote:
I hope your husband drove you to the store. Or maybe you got some sleep instead. :) That would be better maybe. M. |
Kay I hope that you have a bit ore sttrength and feel better. Make the goals tiny. I wish I had someone awake to drive me today but make a short trip to the local store for bread, tissues and eggs. I could not believe bread at almost $3 a loaf. So long since I shopped,
Going to use my bread machine more. Try chicken soup, good for more then the soul, ot helps my heart, hugs di:hug: |
Thank you everyone :grouphug:
I was able to wake up about an hour after my husband got home, but wasn't up to going to the store. My fever came down under 100. I did made a quick dinner: thick slices of bread with pizza sauce and turkey pepperoni. My husband took me to the supermarket on Saturday though- and no bellyaching! Di, I have a breadmaker, too! I use it all the time! Everything's expensive now- funny since the unemployment rate is so high. Waves, I'd guess the tysabri could be out of my system in 1-3 months since my neuro is withholding it for 3 monthly treatments. Mari, I'm 90% sure the med is causing the pain and fevers. I haven't had another temp over 100 so far. I'm still not feeling well cuz of pain and drinking (I know I shouldn't do it). Bobby, I wish I could cry but it really doesn't come easily to me. On rare occasions I break down, but it's usually a sign that something worse is coming (MH wise). Good news: My heat is still on. Bad news: My kitchen sink and dishwasher won't drain. This is the 4th time this has happened since we moved here this past Feb. They kicker is that I was making corned beef and cabbage when it began to happen- and it will smell incredibly disgusting tomorrow. I'm going to have to talk to the manager again tomorrow. I'm really getting my Irish up!!! I feel like we live in a total **** hole! GRRRRR Good news: My father-in-law called while I was making dinner. I told him what I was making, and he said "oh boy, I'd love to have some of that!" He was supposed to be down south for the winter, so I told him it wouldn't ship well. Wouldn't you know it, the little stinker was parked outside our apartment and we had a very nice visit! I go to the eye doc tomorrow & I'm looking forward to seeing if any of these vision changes are d/t MS. I'd rather hear that I just need a new script for lenses. I'm glad I was able to share some good news tonight. I hope everyone's doing well & thank you again, Kay |
Dear Kay,
Your post made me hungry. I can't remember when I last had corned beef and cabbage. It is wonderful that your FIL got to have some of your delicious dinner and that you got to share it with him. I'm sending you good vibes for a good eye exam. Plumbing. ARG! I hope that the management team gets itself on track for you tomorrow. Maybe the pain and fever will lesson soon so that you can feel better. Quote:
