Not sure if I have 6 inches or more already. And expecting more.

Derrick was telling me he has to dig a path to get to the bus
before Jan 4th. I am not even ready to think that yet.

It depends on which weather person you want to listen to as to how much we may get.

One is saying 1 to 3 inches... another is saying 2 to 4. It doesn't matter... we already have 6 inches on our lawn.

I'd rather have a white Christmas than a wet Christmas.
So true. A wet Christmas is not my idea of fun. You are so right about the different weather forecasts you get from different people.

I hope that you are doing OK. I thought that you lived in the south, but you must live in a northern state. BF

Hi,

It's raining here.
Most of my adult life I lived in lower floors apartments. I did not hear the rain over head.

It is strange to hear it now in this place. Given my (un)willingness to accommodate change, I wonder how long it will take to get used to hearing rain on the roof.

Man I hope I can see a stop for even a day of snow. We got probably
another 3 inches. Even 30 miles away they didn't get it.

BRRRRR!!!!!

no snow here ... it "tried" again, but turned to rain. dunno when we will see the next snow. snow is not standard fare here although we usually get a few dustings each winter.

but our temps are in that range. below freezing. ugghh... i wake up that timeof night and turn the space heater on. then lately i've been doing a variant of Steve's home humidifier solution.... which is i boil the kettle... our kettle has a lid in the center, like a pot, that comes off. so i take its top off, and i set the kettle in living room next to me to let off all its nice steam.... ... out and into my airways.... yessss!

i hope you get some reprieve Donna, or sounds like Derrick won't need to dig a path.... so much as a tunnel!!
(sorry couldn't help myself. keep warm.)

I'm so glad that you like the kettle humidifier system Waves. It works so well. Thank you for the feedback. BF

I think it is going to be something that feels like a tunnel. There is so
much snow out there.

I don't remember a year like this in many.

We missed the bullet with snow this week, Phila got a foot or more, just about 4 inches here and the wind was soooo strong at 10* it mostly drifted and blew about. I love how it shimmers when the temp is so low! BUT the wind was crazy!
