Well its not over yet. We are predicted to get from 8 to 17.7 inches.
We are in the middle kind of these predictions. School was cancelled today, and the call came for tomorrow at 3:15. Man will our kids hate the having to go weeks later. Its going to be at least one week so far, I am not sure but it might be going on two now. I'm on vacation this week, so I can't even take snow days. Heehee Everyone, stay dry, P.s. My husband and Derrick went out to pharmacy and grocery store. And to get Beverly Hills II Chihuahua's. Donna:grouphug: |

Oh Bizi it has to worse for folks that are not use to this mess. we expect to have the cold, the endless snow storms are messing with work, schools, just trying to make an appointment is tough.
The snow was only another 4" on top of the 7" from the weekend. Now we are sitting waiting for the ice. Suppose to be 1/2 inch...rather take the 6 more in snow then the dangerous ice. We have gas for the generator, but I do not want to loose power or the cable! It may warm to 32* in the afternoon, if that happens we may dodge the bullet. Watching to Weather channel to keep up on everyone. This guy talks wayyyyy to fast. OMG  He is gasping in fast breath spurts... From the radar we are going to get hit within the hour. The worse, heavy feet deep snow from the blizzard is just north. When he says South of Scranton in PA that is us, a coating of ice is bad, this is calling for 1/2 inch which really concerns me and the winds. We have trees down on wires with this stuff. We have no reason to leave the house except I worry for my son and grandson. They have a generator but the thought upsets me they are alone. :o Momma bear worried about her cub's and cubetts..... Be safe everyone. |
The temperature has gone up to 46 degrees here. It's raining quite a bit. There's no snow in the forward cast here.

Was not as bad as I thought. The sleet was mixed with snow, sleet , drizzle and rain called snizzle....about 6 inches of it.
I have to travel for work tomorrow pretty far north on a broken down car.... ERGH , busy day, pick up grandson. drop a child for a visit, meeting with the woman's auxiliary at the Legion.... Better get some sleep. |
