I got through the work today, I have to go to Stroudsburg tomorrow for a building collapse from the snow. I am lucky that the dh does not mind driving me because I can't do it with the nerve damage and anxiety. I am a classic are we there yet....
I get too anxious being far from home if anything happens.

It is single digits out tonight, another storm of mix early Saturday. I am worried about the long ice cycles hanging from the roof. The gutters are packed with ice and driveway a skating rink. One year we had the ice dams leak into the house so we are worried about that. It is too high to get up there. I told dh they sell hockey puck size salt to throw up on the roof, I don't know about that.....

The appointment tomorrow is at 1:pm, the drive back, then I have to pick up a kiddo for Mom's visit and baby sit my grandson. Long days.....so glad it is the weekend and sleep in on Saturday.

I hope everyone is safe and warm in their heart,
di

Hi all

I just haven't been on the computer for 2 full days and most of today.
Thanks to migraines and snow. I have a mess outside. Can't believe how
much my area was closed. Its been many years since Purdue closed they
were closed Wednesday and THursday too. The mall was closed.

We have been on a level 1 emergency since late monday night or early
tuesday I think. Hmmm, I just seem to have days mixing.

Kids finally went back to school today. But not sure how long it will
last. More snow and ice expected.

Along with low temperatures. UGHS, when is spring coming.:grouphug:

How is your weather?

Hi,

Last year in early March we were still running the heat.
This winter has been so different from last year's unusually cold year.
This year, my "winter" clothes did not get worn at all. 'Will have to put them in a box somewhere until next year.

Nights are high 60s and days get up to 80. We have very little rain in early spring. It is great weather. :)

they keep promising us warmer weather but somehow it keeps managing to stay in the thirties. it's amazing the weatherpeople havent' all resigned or been fired by now.

plus it's been damp and cold and drizzly. really gets in your bones. goes under freezing at night sometimes. so it's very close to that when i leave for work.

i know some of you are worse off though.

but at this point i'm just done with winter i am sick of it.
i am dreaming of the islands where a cardigan is winter clothing.
