Dear Waves,
I don't think the steroid is causing the problem. I thought it might be part of the mix, that is all. I trust your pdoc.

It really sux to know that something can work for you and then not be able to use it because it makes something worse.

Drawing is good. How about clay? .. . . that whole tactile thing?

I've been thinking about the posts about the bosses. I really feel for you having to deal with three. You are doing great. ANY new job would be stressful for most folks. You transitioned from no job to a job and a new life style. A little more that two months ago, you had no boss. Now you have three and you are mostly dealing.

Your post about being pissy somewhere up thread made me laugh a little. I think sometimes that is the best possible word to describe what happens during these times.

The phsycical stress your body is under due to lack of sleep and the likely bacterial infection will light en up soon -- that is my hope anyway . . that the coughing and other symptoms are relieved and you are in good health.

Take care.
M.

Heart

dear waves, I am relieved to hear that the steroids are not absorbed systemically.
I am hoping that you find some other outlet.
perhaps you could go outside and take a short walk and get some fresh air.

I can relate to the dream/ reality thing.

I've been told that if it's temporary when you're waking up, it's because you've been in a deeper (and more restorative) stage of sleep.

Being stresses mentally and physically at work and sometimes at home....
You must be exhausted!

The inhaled steroids make me jittery and anxious. I think it's more likely you'd have trouble falling asleep than having it effect you in the morning.

Here, they'd do a culture if you're not responding to an antibiotic after say, 7 days. But they'd switch you before getting the results. Then maybe switch again if the c & s showed the bacteria isn't sensitive to the 2nd antibiotic.

Trachi-itis could be due to inflammation from an irritating cough or post nasal drip, but it seems likely that yours is bacterial since it's not clearing up.

Lots going on for you right now... drawing seems like a good outlet, since problems with your voice and fingers pose a problem with the music.

(((((BIG HUGS)))))
