These are some of the mysteries of Lost.
Some get answered and some do not.
in the case of these two characters there is a satisfying enough show down later.

Ahhh.

Thanks Mari. I guess I will have to be patient.... :o

Patience is not one of my strong points at the moment!:rolleyes:

I will try to divert my attention... this thing has got me quite overwrought!
I shall seek to unwrithe myself from it for now... somehow....

:Sigh:

reading transcripts

... it's addicting, but...

Boy, these flashbacks are really REALLY getting annoying

Between those and the parallel events involving different groups

My mind is getting thrown left right up down center...

:hissyfit: ARGGH!

Waves,

I usually hate the flashbacks. But they are necessary for information.

I do find it hard to keep track of everyone when they are in different places.

I did try to quit a few times.

You do have the benefit ( or disadvantage) of having the show everyday.

I hate to encourage you to watch these .

Dear Mari

Don't worry

I didn't even start posting until I knew I was going to watch the show... at least as long as they keep running it.

The transcripts are even harder when different groups are doing different things because one has to imagine them in different surroundings - you don't get that scene change... or some of the scenery is similar. We get flashbacks for different people sometimes - not questioning the need for them or their validity. It's just the mind jig. and it's even harder when reading because there are lots more mind jigs that aren't supported by visual stimuli.

This happens with TVD transcripts also, but for some reason I have an easier time of it. Idon't know if it is just that there are fewer. Sometimes when they flip back and forth frequently, I have a hard time whereas seeing it on screen helps the brain to transition.

rest assured you arent' getting me more addicted than I'd get myself. ;)

I just hope I am not sort of dragging you along with my avalanche of neo-enthusiasm for the show... including everything between the mysteries, the frustrations and the delectable Nathan Fillion flashes of it! ;):p "flashes" ah if only. i didn't say that. ignore! brain gazillion directions forgive.:cool:

lost is very addicting! try to watch the pilot first and second episodes of the series one.
awesome!

Waves,

You mention the visual transitions -- The tv version also gives us sound when it transitions.

I have been trying to figure out how to say this so I will say it here even if un-elegantly. The pay off in the finale might not be exactly what you want.

I am glad that for you it is a tv show and not a years long addiction like it was for me. (Whoops I think I outed myself). Some people (like me) have decided never again to follow a show with that many puzzles.

For example, Once Upon a Time --- watched it twice. Not going to get caught up in it. Another example: Revolution --- have not watched it at all. I watch shows with no more than a two episode arc.
I did watch Homeland on Showtime but thank goodness it only goes for about 12 shows and then is done until 9 months later and it does not have a massive cast with dozens of plot lines and mysteries.
