Talking i cut my hair again

hi

i cut my hair ... it's pretty much one length now, to the shoulder just to trim all the junk off before i carved it into a rounded bob. it is graduated upwards around the face but no bangs cut separate.

anyway, i was just getting started but i quite liked how it came out so i held off cutting to ear level i am curious how this will be. i still think i might do that next week. or one of these nigths. weeknights are harder to do hair coz of the cold and i don't like using hair dryers.

and if i am still not happy this summer i'll get it all cut down to 1" and start over.

i tried layering it a couple weeks ago and made a mess...

hi bizi

hmmm.... we'll see.... i don't usu post pix of myself on the web...... maybe i can obscure the face out.... lol it's hard to take pix of myself with my cellphone tho... so we'll see or maybe not... sigh sorry.

it's pretty up off the shoulders already and poofy sideways i think i am going to keep it... it can be feathered lightly... i can probably trim more into the front to get a better effect regard but then harder to deal with .... ahhh...so many decisions... options... branches?

Dear Waves,
Is your hair still long enough to pull back/ up?
I sort of remember that you wanted enough length for that option.

lol mari absolutely not. or yes you are right about the concern but it won't do that now lol.

at best i might be able to gather some of it at the nape, but the front part would not make it to there - would still hang loose around my face. not suggesting i will do this, just to give you an idea of lengths. i might even just take the back up a little, or not. it's mostly whim.

it's mostly when i'm depressed i deliberate too much

i still deliberate when not depressed but, but then i deliberately act too.

when i'm like this i don't always do much deliberating on my hair nor do much deliberately.

i arrived in california state with long hair.

within the first couple weeks i cut it every night it was like a thing. i dunno if i'm on that thing now, it might reasonably need some adjustments even if i dont change it radically again like take it to an inch all around. i would not do that mightself though, so whole other pzzer about finding someone ...

Cool oh i been cuttin it

its at a short bob, still covers ears.

still have room to flatten it upwards and take another inch off.

that might happen just as a matter of trimmings which seem to happen spontaneously

Waves,
That is a good look for some. It will be cool in the summer --
Would you need to lose a lot of product? (just thinking a loud here because short hair sometimes needs more care than longer hair.)

Red face

yes indeed i've had it short short, but i can't do that myself. and i've had it cut and not liked it so... also, the "growing pains" from short short are horrible.

a bob grows out close to one length so does not have to be "managed" like every 3 weeks to look ok, while it grows out.

i don't like using a lot of goo so no - if i cut it short there will be no goo at all.

i might occasionally try something with gel but i can't be bothered for the most part. used to use a little when it was long so it would curl, now a little for direction if i want but mostly it is self-styling.
