thanks everyone.
I am just whining. When people have more problems than I do. I can't really complain, my life could be lots worse. Something really neat has happened. I had heard the first of last week that the new IN*SOURCE newsletter was coming out this week. And my supervisor told me it was featuring a article on the front page about " I thought the little boy that had died in the bus accident" I had helped his mother, try and not have him bussed away from his home town with the other 4 children. But it turns out its about how IN*SOURCE helped this mom, learn to advocate for Tyler Geiger, and how she feels his life didn't end but just kind of began. For lack of memory of the word. It wasn't a death in vain. She kept commenting to my co-worker who wrote the beautiful article. That her IN*SOURCE Regional Prgram Specialist Donna Roberts, taught her how to advocate for her son. And how to get what he needed. I will see if they will post the article online. So I can copy it. I really can't believe the tribute to me. It had. I am really honored. The thing was I felt it was my fault he died. I couldn't stop the bussing, that his mom had wanted. But she had a fundraiser in his name, and donated the funds to IN*SOURCE last year. And they are having another one this year. Wow, I'm so elated. Donna ![]() |
