Cool

Hi Curly?

haya been doin'?

that's cool about your work environment it sounds like a good bunch of people. i am fortunate with my current bunch also. i don't know if they could handle a mania but ... they are all pretty expressive and upbeat people, love to laugh. it very well might not phase them too much... i dunno if they would notice. i have had some hypomanic sx recently and said some inappropriate things meaning it as a joke but i guess it was still inappropriate but it was inappropriate to apologize/draw attention to it in anyway also. oops. lol. well i have rambled on

i hope you will drop by and say hello, give us a slice of your day perhaps.

i have suffered with deep, long depression too in the past, several times...

it's grrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRREEATTTT to be out of depression, isn't it????

((( hugs )))

Waves,

Yes, the people here are great. I really feel like they had every reason to fire me but instead they were EXTREMELY compassionate. My boss called me many times during my 6 weeks off and let me know he was calling both as my boss and my friend. He just wanted to know how I was doing.

And I've done a lot of praying for wisdom so that I would be able to set people at ease when they see my for the first time after I came back. I can't expect everyone to know how to handle someone who was "off his rocker" There were some shocked expressions, but some hugs too

Yes, those deep depressions are almost too much aren't they. I hope I never have to visit there again.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately (I love Iphone kindle). I've read a couple of Kay Jamison's books (Brilliant Madness and Night Falls Fast). I also read a book on how to actually be productive while in a depressed state (Get it done when you're depresed by Julie Fast). And now I am reading a Patty Duke book called Brilliant Madness...so a lot of learning going on.

I also started taking the Omega-3. I'm taking 720 mgs a day, does that sound like enough?

But tommorrow morning I am going to pick up my daughter's birthday present. She will turn 13 the following week. This is what she's getting...and I'm so bad at keeping secrets, and so excited about it myself, that I told her at dinner last night

that sounds like a low dose of fish oil even if it is the actual amount of combined oils, excluding the carrier oil in the capsule.

i found a page that gave some information on dosages, including use for different conditions.
http://fishoil4health.com/fish-oil-dosage.html

remember to consult your doctor before exceeding what the labels suggests. the FDA doesnt' strictly control supplements, so the "problem" is there can be more or less in there than stated. while filsh oil is unlikely to be problematic, other supplements can be very toxic taken in excess.

i went to look at the cover of A Brilliant Madness.... i think it might be the one i read. i read at least one of her two books. the other is called Call Me Anna - her real name is Anna. i may have read both the books.

also good are Touched With Fire and An Unquiet Mindby Kay Redfield Jamison.

on your daughter's present... WOWWWWWW! is she a musical child? oh i bet the anticipation is electrifying. could even be better than a surprise would have.

Waves,
Yes I also read an Unquiet Mind. My daughter has been taking piano for about a year and is really loving it. I think she will do very well.

Bizi,
Thanks for asking that. My wife is happy with the purchase. I've been looking at some different Yamaha Clavinova's and finally found one that was a good price and close enough for a day trip. If my daughter is gonna move on with her piano lessons then she's got to get something that has 88 keys and pedals (3 preferably). Right now she's using an old organ that my mama left her to practice on.

I'm getting it used so it's about 1/3 of the new price.
