Default Yesterday - Today and Tomorrow

I am learning to live in the moment, at least trying.

Today I took my neighbor to the outpatient at the hospital for his knee surgery for 6am we left at 5:30 am. Then his wife went after she dropped their daughter off at school. All went well, it was microscopic.

They have been real good friends to me.

Tomorrow I am taking him to get the drain out, then to PT, so his wife doesn't have to take another day off from work.

My mom's ear is really clogged, she has the TV so loud, I have to get her to a ear dr to have it blown out or something. Then I have to reschedule a few appt's she had me cancel when things weren't so good.

So, that's good.

Weather is great, makes a difference. Still no call today from the PO.
Not going to let it get to me anymore. I refuse. Nor will I call him.

I am just talking - a bit tired, a bit anxious, but okay.

Anyway, what's up everyone????????????????????????????

Hugs, Nikko

HI nikko!
Saw that you were watching american idol so I decided to start another thread this year...
It is good that you are doing ok with your mum...hope she has learned her lesson.
It continues to suck the way his PO is neglecting his responsibilities, how hard is a phone call?
hope you enjoyed your supper...can I come for desert?

Heart big help

Nikko that had to be such a huge help for your friends and I know if I were them I would be so happy to have someone as caring as you to help. My own famiy wouldnt help me. (except my kids).

Thank you for being a special person to gt up so early, care about their health and return to get the drain out for the wife.
A very special hug to you.
Poohy on the PO, he has his own problems, soon he will not be yours.
Love and have a nice day tommorrow.
Oh thanks for sending the near 60* day. The snow is finally melting and found my sons keys today burried in the blizzard!

I went to a grief support group it is ok to brain storm, but I don;t think I can find real healing. I feel I have to save the world, like I could humanly do that as one person....I have to help myself first.
Spring is coming, I need to focus on that pleasure
Di

When you are really good at the Zen of living in the moment you are gonna need to teach me. LOL I suck at it right now.

I am glad your mom is holding to her end of the bargin. It must be so hard.

And you are wonderful. You are a caring and dear person, Nikko.

Zen.......I didn't even know that living in the moment was Zen, duh on me.

I am just trying my hardest to do that, or else I will blow a gasket.

Too much has transpired and I got myself tangled in a web of obessing over it and getting ****** off. NO MORE....I am done.

Still no call from the PO.....a week now since he cancelled for the 3rd time with no follow up phone call. Well I will be damned if I call him, it will only upset me, so I say screw it.

Living life in the moment is all I can do now. I am sick of stress and worrying and my ex and his PO.

So all in all - I'm dealing with things as they come. Now is my time to call the shots.

Hugs, Nikko

N- that's the best thing that you can do - live in the moment, that is . We should all try harder to live by that motto! Believe it or not, I have been at my job here at Disability for over a year now, and have graduated from Trainee to 'Journeyman'. With that comes more responsibility, more money , and, yes, more worry, too! There is another 4 month 'working test period', and I was a bit blown out the other day, and it seemed like everything was going wrong with my cases that day. I felt sort of like the !! Luckily, it didn't last. I feel back on 'my game' so to speak, and I know I can handle it!! Last year, we saw three people being 'laid off' when they got to the end of that test period, but I don't think anyone here is close to being in danger of that

Gotta run!!
