I had a severe case of rosacea fulminins. and had to have steroid injections in my face twice before seeing any results, had open sores and it was awful. took 10 days of clidamycin because we thought it was infectious, it was not after culture. then switched to 150mg of doxycycline, so about a week of that. I used creams steroid for one week and bactroban for the past 2 weeks, most of the sores are healed and only a few white heads remain. I used aczone again for the first time since this outbreak and it is like a miracle. took away a lot of the redness and I actually went with out a bandage last night to sleep going to not use that bandages any more and just go with out, I have some rosacea make up that I just bought from clinique yesterday if I feel I need to use that...so happy to report this!!!!!well my face is so much better so that I am not wearing the bandages as of last night. I feel so relieved about his. the bumps have almost all gone away, about 6 left is all. I bought some cover up make up yesterday...maybe I will give that a try. Am up early to take a shower as we are leaving at 9:30. We are going out of town for a night to ruston to visit our friends who live there. Jeff is going to sit in on a few songs, his friend is playing a gig at the foot ball game tail gating festivities....

well after carefully washing my face alot of the redness reappeared and several bumps became more noticeable...still better overall.
and I am wearing the make up today, itchy but no bandages! and it doesn't look that bad. I was up early for me took a shower and wanted plenty of time to do my face. thanks blue car gal. bizi

Hope it is on the road to reslove Bizi. It would be such a blessing to be healing. Maybe a fascial wash that does not irratate will help with the post washing redness. But so glad to hear overall it is better.

just got back from an over nighter to our friends in northern louisiana, had a really nice visit.last night when I went to go take off my make up...my regular gentle cerava cleanser wouldn't touch it...so I had to use regular soap to take it off. Do any of you guys use makeup? do you use a make up remover or jsut plain soap?
I am not use to wearing foundation. bizi I do the hormone saliva testing in the morning....
