thank you waves, I just read thru my speech for the last time and totally pitted thru my pajamas and my hands sweat so much that I got my papers wet....the last time I gave a speech like this was about 25 years ago.
My face is a mess, going to wait till the last minute to apply make up...I have an hour to sit and worry, get dressed and go early as I am not positive where it is located, it is only a 15 minute drive. I had been practicing sitting at a desk but may have to stand which I am not happy with that idea. there will only be 10 people there so I am hoping to sit and just face them. but this mornings reading I held my papers up to see if I could do that...I can it is a little clumsy going from one page to the next but I did it. I am afraid to take a klonipin because that is what I take to sleep....I can't even typs this morning correctly keep messing up....ok time to get dressed. golly I am nervous..... bizi

well I ended up taking a tiny dose of klonipin....25mg, nite time dose is 1mg so i figured it might help me a little...I know that I keep posting but am glad to get my mind doing something before I leave in just a little bit....This is not going to kill me..I have to keep reminding my self it will be over very soon. I ate a banana....lol
I am thankful for my friends here, you have always given me such great support and advise. bizi

Dear Bizi,
in case you are still here to read this... i was off singing so i just saw all your posts!  i don't think the .25 mg Klonopin will put you out... besides when you are so nervous it will affect you less... it is primarily anxiolytic... it helps you sleep because it is also myorelaxant ... less of a hypnotic. i am saying i think that will be just fine, and i hope it does help!!! I just got back...
wheeew glad that is over. I did fine thanks to the Director of nursing. it was a working lunch so they ate while I talked. I did pretty much read it, they had questions as I went along, challenging ones too, so it kept me on my toes. again thanks for your continued support. bizi
