well my face is a little less swollen at least that is what I am telling myself.
I picked up another antibiotic today doxycyclin 150mg once a day...started the steroid cream last night....jeff is gone for this evening a concert out of town so he will be late so I will be on line alot until he comes home if anyone wants to chat PM me. bizi

I just did alot of reading about rosacea and am overwhelmed.
 I read a lot of telling stories of rosacea being related to estrogen, for some and that HRT (hormone replacement therapy) was successful in treating their rosacea. I also read that it could be mites causing the problem. I just took my meds and will sit up for 30 minutes like the antibiotic says. I need to look up the facts about the doxycyclin 150mg DR (DORYX) to see when is a good time to take this once a day antibiotic. then I need to get to bed...jeff should be home soon. bizi

my thought is to stop reading for now. i think you will work yourself up more. scare yourself into a tizzy... find more things to worry about. you have enough to worry about. let's get through this flare-up for now. for that, you have the tools you need. give the new treatment plan a try. i am glad to hear your face seemed less swollen. that is a great sign. i hope things continue well. i am sorry i was not around for you last night. i had a migraine and went to bed early.  love waves |

the inflammation is down but it seems to be spreading..
~sigh I did not sleep last night...wonder if that is from the steroid cream???? These new bandaids are so sticky about ripped my face off, jeff taught me a trick, use 99% alcohol and a q tip easily got it off. he is so smart! He will be out of town at a car show with a friend of his this evening and the home tomorrow about 7pm or so. My face itches off and on, sometimes a piercing stinging. it is getting better... At least that is what I keep telling myself. think I will go lay down for a bit...hair appointment at noon...all I want to do is sleep. but I need to get a color, hate the gray that creeps up.... bizi

It is obvious that I need to see an endocrinologist or maybe just a GYN doc
for testing of my hormones, I really believe after much much reading that my rosacea is hormone driven. It kind of makes me mad that the dermatologist did not suggest that I have my hormones tested...I am 48 years old. I would be willing to take a small dose of hormones to treat my face. I can't see taking all of these antibiotics that really don't seem to be helping, (and becoming antibiotic resistant) the rosacea has definitely spread. Good news is that The inflammation has gone down which is great!. I just took my night meds...since I did not sleep last night I should sleep just fine tonight. I did not use the steroid cream tonight...am afraid that is why I was up all night last night..I am hypomanic just for the record. bizi I can't believe that I used benzol peroxide on my face tonight when I washed it.....this all started back in january when I wanted to stop using that product and heal my skin naturally remember that thread. Come to find out that benzol peroxide has anti inflammatory properties. and that is why it worked to control acne. sigh bizi am going to try to sleep now..... I am working tomorrow at noon so have plenty of time to sleep.....
