I had hoped husband was going to get a job so I could take some time at
home. He didn't so I didn't get any time.

To take some away from home cost money. So I have to wait till I
have some fairs, away from home, I can work some time into those then.

HEehee

Smile Hee hee?

I don't know, Donna. I get the feeling you get a certain kick out of the little games you play with hubby. "Hee, hee," indeed!

Seems I struck a nerve with one of the assistant director's of one of the spec. education co-ops. But if the staff under them would do what they are supposed to. When I send emails, they wouldn't be about things that aren't in the IEP's or that they don't seem to already know about.

But if for some reason, they decide to go to my supervisor, well ugh. I should
have had the parent send it. But she wanted me too.

I'm sorry, I thought we were allowed to write letter's for parents.

So I'm getting tired of the changes all the sudden.

they need to put these changes in law, or at least tell us.

Donna,
I am so sorry to hear about the work frustrations. I know first hand how they distract from our focus to do the job we are ommited to and make a stressful work environment. I hope that you can get some time off soon to relax.

Donna, are they seriously requiring you to conform to changes that haven't been put in writing?

If so, I'd think you could reasonably request that anything required of you be put in writing. Can't hurt--they worst they can do is say no.

C.G. And others

Its just me kind of worrying out loud again. I am not sure if they are or not.

I'm personally not wanting to change this. And probably wont.

Just wont do it exactly the same way. I'll work through, making sure i
write it and send it to the parents to send.

I have done it this way before. The few I've sent were because the parent has been so. Worked over, they weren't sure they could send it.

Donna

(THis is honestly one of my better groups. And I'm wondering if I got to someone)

Donna,

Has your review already happened?

Was that when the issue with your supervisor surfaced, or is that causing you to worry about your review?

My review hasn't happened.

And my problem came up. Because I sent a email, about issues one of my cases is having. And put in writing again, not realizing the coordinator, left out of the copy of the IEP. The fact she was going to let the Director know there might or we thought was a need for a paraprofessional. He is a flee risk, and has problems with the alarms that they have to do. And we had
to request the Teacher of Service, put it in his paperwork, that he not be given sissors. If it had been left up to the Teacher of Record, that would have been left out too.

The other thing that was supposed to be put in and happen the same week.
Was the autism team, was to start coming to take a look at him. See if they could give some suggestions.

This was left out also. So two major things, were left out of the IEP.

So when I sent these all in the email. And it wasn't in the IEP at all. It didn't look good technically on them. So I got worried she would tell my
supervisor I sent it to the Superintendent too.

Just me worrying mainly. I get that way. I don't believe any of it has happened. And I honestly don't think it will. Just get worried.

I see. But the bottom line is, even though there was a problem with the IEP, you FOUND the problem and advised on it, which was the right thing to do at that point.

I worry too when it comes to reviews or being reprimanded. It is hard not to when one cares so much and invest so much of yourself at work. I've been told off unfairly too in a variety of situations, and somehow that hits me even worse. It's like my brain just doesn't know how to process it.

As for your review though, I believe you need not worry. They will consider all the good work you do. You are valued for your wealth of experience, talent, and genuine passion no doubt. So, even though there have been a few hitches lately, i bet it won't affect things too much.
