Default Question about my brain

OK, I'm gonna try to describe this as good as I can, maybe someone can help me. For all I know everyone else is like this!!!

I can never seem to allow my mind to stop. For as long as I can remember I've been like this. I have to be singing (to myself of course) or talking (to myself, I know...sounds bad) all the time. I want to stop it, but the silence seems to be absolutely overwhelming, so I just never do. When I'm talking to someone my mind is engaged on what I'm saying (of course), but when someone is talking to me I'm listening to them and still doing something on my own inside the skull. I hate it, anyone ever heard of this?
