Hi Bobby

The dentist went OK, but I was in the chair for 3 hours, cracked the whole shebang, and had to get the tooth pinned and ready for a crown. Because it holds a partial had to get it fixed.
I want you to know, if you look long and hard enough, there will be dentists that can give you a break financially. My dentist did do that for me, when she found out how much trouble I am in medically. She gave me the several visits, cleanings, and deep root cleanings for free. I am also allow to pay whatever I can, when I can. No pressue for payments of any kind. My son is working on weekends to help me to pay. I have no insurance, and medicare/medicaid doesn't cover a thing. That is why I didn't see a dentist for 10 years, no money and it cost me three teeth. I now have gotten the rest of my mouth in good order, without fear of a bill I can't pay for.
As far as dieting goes, after what I went through yesterday, I had pie and a big bowl of ice cream. I didn't do so good either the last couple of days for sure. Stress puts me in the mood to emotionally eat, and I have been certainly doing that. Lets both of us try today.
Take care bobby, and I hope you find that compassionate dentist. ginnie

Hi Bizi

Yes, mouth is sore. I don't do that well with the injections. I get some painful side effects and always have been sensitive to it. Had oatmeal, and will take it easy today. I will read and lay low. Thank for writing to me, Hope you are doing OK today too Bizi, I have to get back on track with the diet thing. ginnie:hug:

Dear Bobby

I am so glad to hear you pepped up and out of depression on Sunday, spending it with some other folks.

Excellent work doing the research on a dentist. I do hope you find someone who can take care of you the way Ginnie's dentist is her, without taking your last dime andthensome. Considering the nature of their work, it is surprising how few medical professionals are truly giving. Thank goodness there are a few out there.

Hi waves

I do hope bobby finds that good dentist too. This is the first time in my whole life that I liked a dentist, really trusted. She also had mercy on me for the financial part, that was most unusual. I adopted her as my sister at the office yesterday! She told me her brother did her own work the week before. She comes from a whole family of dentists! Wish all of you could be in my neck of the woods and see her too. I think about all of you daily! ginnie:hug:

Dear Bobby,

'Good news about the medicare payments.

I understand about the Chinese food. It can be addictive somehow. I try not to eat it very often.

thanks Waves
i decided i will go back to the nyu clinic. I can trust them. I think i might request implants for the bottom dentures since i keep on reading how hard they are to keep in place. I have to see how much they cost. I will wait until another tooth falls out.
I just read that a landlord is trying to get rid of rent control and the case is going to the supreme court in june off 2013. eeks. they can decline it. I hope i don't obsess about it as i did the last time.
I am getting back with a former friend which is very nice. I used to speak to her every day on the phone and then we had a falling out. I don't remember why. I think it is either one or two years.
Love
bobby
