You are much braver than I am. I can state that for a fact.

I am not sure even when we get our insurance again that going
to a dentist will be tops on my list.

I am not the best at it. And I know that.

I have a list of places and people I have to see, and I'm working through
the list. I have a appt next week with my pain doctor. Then I have
to get my blood work done, and reschedule the appt, for my primary. THey
cancelled. If I had been home when they cancelled it, it would have been
rescheduled, but I wasn't.

Then if my asthma starts back roughly, more than it has. I will have to
find some money to reset up with my allergist-asthma doctor. But I'm hoping
to wait on that one.

Dear Ginnie,
I am sorry that your son has abandoned you, maybe he has mental health issues? If you have the diagnosis of bipolar than he could also have a form of it...runs in families.
I am glad that the zoloft is on board.
It is awful that your family left you destitute.
Terrible.

You are brave to deal with the dentist and the surgeon. Does it help to feel good about taking action toward taking care of yourself.

I'm sorry about mistreatment from your family.

Lots of us don't get real wild mood swings. Unmedicated, some get big swings, some get barely any mood swings, others are in between.
Before I was medicated I got mixed moods. The best way to describe is a mixed mood is to say it is the intensity of mania combined with the deep sadness of depression. Those moods were horrible. I also had tremendous anxiety. Lots of psychologists do not know anything about mixed moods but psychiatrists do.
I think psychiatrists are better at diagnosing than psychologists are.

Ginnie i hope everything goes smoothly at the dentist's. I understand not wanting to lose teeth. i hope you will allow yourself to grieve them as a loss. it is natural. i am just sorry you have to go through with this.

Yep the nerves are up and going. I feel all of you with me today. This does help me to cope with what I have to do. I feel your compassion and know that I will not be alone when I go in today. I am in tears this morning, evidently mourning the loss of what I tried so hard to take care of. I spent thousands on this area of my mouth when I had the money. While I was going though the spinal fusions and all the other surgery, the dentist wasn't one I could do. I had no health insurance though any of it. Of course it wiped me out. I thank God for medicare/medicaid, but there isn't a program for dentists. I do hope all of you have insurance, our country needs to find a way to help us with medical conditions when insurance isn't possible.
I am so glad I have you all in my corner. It means so much to me to know I am not alone, and that there are prayers floating all around me. I care about you all too, very much. I am blessed to have found this place, where you meet where you soul is. This is a gift that I won't take for granted. Thank you, and I will thinking of all of you during my ordeal. my best wishes...you will pull through and then it will be in the past. at times life seems so unfair but we have to remind ourselves that it is a mystery.
