Default 5 Things we are thankful for

Hi,

An online friend of mine who knows I've been depressed now for awhile suggested I list 5 things I am thankful for every day. It worked for the time being but I think I need to make a record of the things I am thankful for now to pick up my mood. For anyone who wants to join in, please do. List 5 things you are thankful for today. They can be small things like a cup of good coffee.

Here goes mine:

1. I am thankful for my computer to have contact with all my online friends.
2. I am thankful that today is a nice day and I actually got outside to talk to some neighbors.
3. I am thankful that I have a lot of different music CDs to listen to at will. I am listening to one now.
4. I am thankful that I have stayed away from chocolate as I cannot just have a few but half to eat a half of bag of it. So I may be able to lose some weight because of this.
5. I am thankful that we went to Day Light Savings Time early this year.

1) am thankful for my supportive family.
2) am thankful for my working mind and body so that I can enjoy my life.
3) am thankful to have a roof over my head and enough food in my belly.
4) am thankful for the sun that makes all of my flowers grow beautifully.
5) am thankful for rain to nourish our crops and of course my flowers too.

Hi Befuddled,
When I am annoyed I don't feeling like doing this exercise -- even though I know it is good to do this.
