Default Better late than never...

Wow, bizi, you are making me hungry!

We had a quiet New Year's Eve - it was the six of us, and we had a dinner of all kinds of appetizers that we bought and made. We watched several of the New Year's parties on the networks, saw the big crystal ball fall in Times Square, and went to bed shortly after midnight. I went to take Lilo out to potty before going to bed, and, to my surprise, I could see fireworks from my back patio, and there were also lots of fireworks, etc, many of which sounded like gunshots .

We just know that 2012 will be a better year for us, once we get through this month, with the anniversary of the fire on the 18th, followed a week later by what would have been Andrea's 29th birthday. I feel a sense of calm, though, with the knowledge that she is happy where she is now... I do miss her, though.

Happy 2012, everybody!!
