Being MANIC is fun for a while but it sure wears a body out!!!!
Went to my Tdoc today... she said she likes the manicy me...  I've been on the Manicy side for a couple of months... I said it's ok... but I have to be really careful because I want to buy everything I see!!!! I even had to block the Home Shopping Network and QVC off of my tv...  I don't go shopping by myself!!! My mom is almost always with me and she won't let me use my credit cards. Well, it's been a long day... time to TRY and unwind.  Abbie

yes, this is the bright side of bipolar as long as it's a "clean" mania and the ride doesn't get too wild... you sound like you have taken some precautions to stay safe. that's good, and good that mom is helping!  what can i say... lol... ENJOY!!! it makes me smile to hear you happy too. i hope you are able to rest. get pdoc to step up to the plate to help you if that is a problem.  ((( gentle hugs ))) ~ waves ~ |

any changes in your meds or is this related to some incident or just plain out of the blue?

Pdoc added Lithium to my list of meds and changed my anxitey meds to Valium.
So far... it seems to be working... just sent me a little to the manicy side. Nothing major.... I don't think.  I'm hoping to get back in the swim spa next week or the week after.... depends on when my right leg and hip will ease up enought to let me walk more than a few step even with my crutches. I LOVE the warm water!!!! <---- to all of you... old and new friends alike. Abbie

Haha Abbie !!!
I know right ?? My case is slighty different. Every time, well, not really, but 80% of the time I feel depressed, I feel the urge to buy things... I start shopping and I feel maniac... I bet you can see it on my face LOL The other day, I Went shopping, shopping, shopping... no kidding, at the end, I was soooooo tired and realized and didnt really needed all the stuff I had bought...  I ordered so many things online that now Im waiting to arrive... now, waiting the postman makes me anxious, well, excited... and today for example, he brought me some stuff and I was so excited opening the packages and making a mess at my room and then, I was so tired and thinking... all this stuff is cheap, ugly and I dont really need it ! Gosh. But still, I do agree, to be maniac is better than to be depressed in a dark hole at least, for a while...
