Default Afirmations

Sorry that I spelled Affirmations wrong. Many Apologies.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Hi,
This site says to start with "I am."

Positive Affirmations
http://positivemindwealth.com/positi...-affirmations/
Quote:
“I am…”
The two most powerful words in the universe. A declaration to the world and universe of exactly who and what you are or what you intend to be. Curiously enough some claim they are also the first sounds in the universe, as repeated over and over again they produce an ‘ohm’ sound which is commonly associated by some religions as the first noise of good. Either way however the sentence beginning with I am has been associated with the power to create by many respected authors, religious zealots and mystics throughout the ages and has been known to form the back bone of beneficial positive affirmations. I highly recommend that you include it any positive affirmation you intend to use. I knew there was a reason why McDonalds chose their latest slogan ‘I’m loving it’.
This site give more suggestions:

I like this one:
Quote:
- I am healthy and happy.

yesterday i started using God loves me.... it was hard since i came from such a dysfunctional family and everything had conditions. if i can accept that God loves us unconditionally shouldn't that give us strength and some comfort?

Thumbs up

from the first article i basically only liked the part you quoted. even though it reminded me of that song by Neil Diamond... which is not exactly a positive affirmation....
I am..." I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all, not
Even the chair
the rest of the article i found odd. all these example affirmations about money and richness, felt so materialistic. kinda reminded me of zig ziegler's motivational tapes (for salespeople).

---------------------

in contrast, i appreciated the second article a great deal. seemed more wellrounded and the examples were not so money money money focused. i found it very clear and helpful in practical ways.

thanks you for finding and posting these.

waves who generally won't be talking to chairs... although i do sometimes apologize to inanimate objects if i bump into them... it's a reflex!
