I got to see the most amazing fireworks display with Derrick
on TV. So it was fantastic ending for me.

It was the Boston Pops show. I didn't have to leave my house
to see it. So it was much better for this heat hating person.

I have to say Waves, even those ones that the professionals
run, can turn dangerous. A few years ago, a person in my county
was helping with one. He is a electrician, and he was burned
pretty bad. Was in a hospital for a couple of weeks.

So it brought it home to this area, just how dangerous it is.

I kept remembering him yesterday. He is around and alive. And
you can't see the burn scars, but you remember. And I'm sure
his daughters that are around Derrick's age really remember.

Red face

Dear Donna

So glad to hear that you and Derrick did get to see a nice fireworks show after all, even if it was on tv (can't get any safer than that! lol.)

That is so sad about the electrician who got burned. I guess those who set up those big platforms are at risk. It is just safer for the public but someone has to set them up, and something can go wrong at that time. Odd how when things are done for us often we don't consider just how much is behind the scenes. Indeed, I had not thought it through in this case.

Man this was just so tragic.

Wow,
