Hi,
I did not know I had a meeting today.  I am soooooooooooo HAPPY that I did not know about it. I slept instead. Sleep was good. We have a long meeting/event on Thursday. That is already too much time in one week to deal with stupid stuff --- and by that I mean having to talk and interact with so called grown ups ( colleagues and bosses ). M. |

I don't know he sounds a lot like my hubby and to me it sounds like he is just behaving like a jerk. Like my hubby, he just enjoys getting a reaction from you, like a child any reaction is fine, good or bad.
Try asking him if he just needs more attention and ask him to comunicate with you like an adult instead of frustrating you to get your attention. Anyway I really hope all works out and it's good to see you have so much support from this group!

Hello !! (Im arriving late to the threads as usually...
 )Mari, Your hubby sounds like my dad.... completely.... Sam said it correct.... I can only think "what a jerk you are".... But thank you all for opening my eyes, it is clear like dad is sick too, have issues that maybe doc could help with and we could coexist in peace in the same house ! I understand how frustrating and stressful can be to be disturbed like that Mari when you already have stuff to solve and even asked for help....

Hi,
Hubby was receptive to the potential Aspergers diagnosis when I told him that the information would help him to maximize his strong areas and minimize his problem areas. (In engineering he would call it maximizing gains and minimizing losses.). He gave me an example of when three people are talking to him at the same time. He cannot deal with that. He said that he prefers that one person talk to him and the rest go take a nap and come back later. He was concerned about the name. I think he heard the "As" part. I told him the name came from the Austrian researcher who figured it out. M |
