I have mixed feelings about this. I want to be divorced but on the other hand it's having it become a feeling of failure and loss.

I've had a bad day today at the Super Center Store eye care. The manager there argued with me when I tried to get new eye glasses.

Thank you Barb and Mark. I plan to sleep a good deal when I go to bed. I think the extra sleep even though I'll have a hang over tomorrow from Klnopin will do me good.

Things may seem bleak now BF but I assure you things will work out. When my husband asked me for a divorce he totally blind-sided me. I thought our marriage was perfect, we never argued or anything. I never saw it coming and thought it was the end of the world. He just came home on our anniversary and said I don't want to be married anymore. I was devastated, I lost not only my husband but my friend. My biggest fear was that I was going to die alone. I honestly think this was the start of all my psych problems.

But I found out he had been running around with my best "friend" for over 2 years. So in the end, he did me a favor.

You will get over it. It will hurt for a while but your pain does subside.

I feel it will be all for the better and you should examine your beating yourself up since it hasn't worked out. We bipolars tend to be so self critical which is self defeating. Don't be self defeating. You will gain a freedom to help you heal and grow and think better of yourself. An unhappy relationship is toxic...yet so hard to break. I wonder if you can find a support group during this time. Who knows, you might meet somebody in it if it coed...My girlfriend found her companion of seventeen years in a support group for single parents...
