I was not good on the organ. I rarely used the feet. I played it like a piano -- found one setting and stayed with it. It was probably a basic organ.
I studied piano and alto sax until I got to college and realized I was not any good, briefly dropped out, . . . moved, . . .

I pawned the sax when I was between jobs and flat broke. I used to play piano when I visited someone's house who had a piano. ( . . . every one else outside at the barb b que and I at the piano where no one could hear me. . . . )

I know it sounds odd but it really is o.k.
The meds and the years (decades?) of sleep deprivation make music now possible.
Lots of people would love that keyboard. Maybe rent it out to visitors. Charge people to come to your house and play it.

I always wanted to learn to play the piano.

I played the flute, but had to share mine with my sister. So when we got older she kept ours. In case her daughter would want to play.

The other one we had was a cousins, and they wanted it back for their daugther. So I really missed it.

A couple of years ago, I bought a new one. But i've never been able
to play it like I used to. I've thought about seeing is my granddaughter
would want to play it.

It just doesn't mean as much anymore.

But at least I finally replaced mine. My son the oldest played the trumpet, and he was pretty good. And the guitar.

We tried instruments with Devin, but sports was his thing. He had a guitar, and he gave it to my middle granddaughter.

I am being a party pooper it seems.

I was hoping to feel like taking Derrick to town today.
I don't seem to. I have a bad cold, today my stomache is

I'm "hangin' at home" with ya, ok? Try not to worry yourself about feeling bad. Hear pot calling kettle black coz I know I feel bad every time I get a migraine or whatever else, that affects others. And I feel bad about my general status. But I try not to. We have to take care of ourselves like we take care of others.

So, please, take care of yourself today, please? Derrick will want you to, we both know that.

I'd pooper all over a party if i found one i think lol. I don't even feel Eastery.

I have flower cards and I think I might just give them tomorrow. Here Easter Monday is a public holiday also, celebrated as "Little Easter."

Let's try and enjoy Easter in whatever way we can ... whatever that means... even if it means tuning out or chilling to get feeling better.

Happy Easter or Passover all,

As I get older, and my kids get older, passing along the baton to them. I have not colored eggs since dil does them with with dd and dgs. Easter Sunday church was something I never thought I would skip. Even if other Sundays I slept in or worked. But, never made an attempt to get up. All those childhood memories of family and church.......

I watched most of the old biblical movies this morning, then the "Love Comes Softly," series. I think Michael Landon Jr. was part of. It starts with a young pregnant "Marty's" husband dying from a fall off his horse. She marries Clark for practicality of caring for his dd Missy. 2004, through last year a new release.

Over the next several years the series grew with Missy marrying, her children marrying. That dd becoming a woman doctor....then, it full circle backs all the way to the beginning when Clark' meets Missy's mom Ellen. the next sega Missy is born in the next movie she is being reared by her Dad who on the timeline is still to lose the wife and meet Marty.

Confused, lol gosh I watched this series every holiday. I think there are six of them now. Katherine heigl plays Marty,
I can't even count the amount of times I watched the series.

Baked a ham, kielbasa, potato salad, beans, green bean casserole, then dd made cupcakes for desert.
Stuffed and tired.
