I hope you get some sleep Mari.

It's good that your work buddy thought your outburst was "ok" -- not nearly as bad as it seemed to you.

Mari 09-24-2013 03:12 AM

feeling messed up. also complaining. I want to feel safe.

I think I slept about two hours around 10:00 pm.

I am somewhat sleepy again but fighting it.

. . . and I have an appointment with new pdoc at 11:15 am.

(AGAIN A NEW PDOC ?!!!!!! ? Is this my lot? Is this supposed to be fun???? Let's just say that I am not having fun. :holysheep:
I pray that she takes good care of me and has some wisdom. )

It takes too much preparation to go to new people:
~google to find the address
~map quest
~print map
~program address into phone
~calculate when I should leave home --- A HUGE DEAL BECAUSE I RUN LATE MOST OF THE TIME. And let's face it, I would always rather stay home.
~find my most recent medicine bottles
~put on some clothes-- even if they are dirty and on the floor
~talk myself into leaving the house, getting into the car and going to the place.

Talking to myself is a lot of work.
I should get awards for convincing myself to get out of the house and into the car.

============
Oh, and after that appointment I have to drive to work for a meeting!!!!!!!!

Hubby has given me chores beyond what I am capable -- wants me to deal with my credit card company and maybe something else I cannot remember . . . . .

wishing you well today!

Good luck with the pdoc today, Mari. You have a good prep list laid out.

Yuck about the meeting afterwards. Maybe try to process things one at a time. I'm thinking the chores Hubby "assigned" you can probably wait at least a day.

YOu do have a good list of things to do today. good luck getting everything done.
sorry it is so hard for you.
I think you are doing a good job of juggling things, good luck with your new pdoc.
sorry for the lack of sleep.

She was nice

I overslept and got there 10 mins late.

She asked about history but got through that in only a few questions --- did not make me feel like I was getting grilled.

I felt that she understood the sleep issue when she talked about diurnal sleep and how that difficult is to manage.

I see her in two months. . . . she said we could do one month but two months is o.k. since I am already established on these meds. I can call her to come in earlier if I want.

She wrote the Lamictal script for 50 mgs ---- told me to take 25 in the am and 25 in the pm.

Oh Mari,

Well this sounds like a good start. She sounds gentle. I liked that she said you could call her if you needed to come in sooner.

I was pretty impressed by this:

:) I hope things keep going smoothly.

Is this the one that is 10 minutes from your home?

According to Map quest she is six mins from my home and that feels right. I might have ASKED about coming in earlier.
It was something like first she said two months. Then she said we could do one month. That's probably when I asked / reaffirmed about coming in before two months if necessary.
