Hey Mari. Yes. I have one cat. She can be a hand full sometimes. I was given a second cat one time, and I brought it into my part of the house.

I heard growling, and threatening sounds. So I put the cat back into the car. I drove back to where it was given to me,and let it go. I knew that it would find it's way home from there.

I'm not sure if one,or both of them growled with threatening sounds at each other. I just wanted to restore the peace. BF

Default Hi BF

Often cats who are introduced to each other don't get along right away. Lots of hissy fits. I introduced a kitten, who posed no threat to my other pet. No worries and he is now best buds with my older cat. Stay warm BF. ginnie

We have a blizzard in the whole state of Indiana. Its a travel emergency warning in the whole upper and most of central part. It means emergency
travel only. Do people listen nope.

Some businesses are listening, and some aren't. But that is the normal
way. Its -17.5 in Kokomo. And 2 or 3 hours ago it was -14.5 here.
So its probably lower now.

Its bad, and my couch is warm. Some parts of Oxford lost electric for
a good bit. Most have it back now. But they opened a shelter in case
it stayed out for long.

I am not going far.

Derrick is in town with a friends family and safe.

I am sorry, Bizi. I'm afraid I can't find it any more either. Perhaps I'm mistaken about where I saw it. In any case, it was just the kind of map you'd see watching a national weather report on television.

As I obviously don't see US television here in Europe, the map I saw, wherever it was, did help me get a better idea which areas were to be affected.

Default Predicting Monday and Tuesday

This is for Monday night (Jan 6):

This is for Tuesday (Jan 7):

Here is the link to USA Today's weather (Dry weather mostly but lots of wind . . .. dangerous wind chill.)

http://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/2014/01/06/4346767/

These ladies were talking in the middle of their maps. I could not get good screen captures.
The worst weather is in the midwest but New England and the South will be very cold too.

Chicago had a record low for January early in Monday morning: -16 degrees (this is not counting the wind chill)

Okay it looks like its missing Indiana completely.

I'm not sure but some area's in the middle of Indiana. Had -over 10 .
Not positive exactly what or how high it went.

I know ours was at -7 when my husband was out one of the times.

But my brother-in-law posted they had a -17 I just don't know if
he had the wind chill in his or not. He is in kokomo.

They are calling this event a POLAR VORTEX. I'm hearing all kinds of things about this phenomena that I cannot verify yet. The jet stream is swinging way down into the deep South, and frigid air is coming down from the North Pole.

It's 14 degrees here at around 11:35 PM. BF
