we don't have cable only local tv, get about 10 channels with the digital convertor box, because we have an old tv.
That's a great idea Bizi, with the new digital waves and antennas pick up several channels.

Donna, my tv is on 24/7 for background noise. I even sleep with it turned real low. Crazy waste of elec but, it is just what I need. Hope he decides soon. Oh, there are movies on Netflix for a free trial that may get you through. I watch them on the computer until they hook my new tv up. MNy providers have 30 trials, have him at least let one come out and demonstrate.
Hugs

He has this thing called The Rabbit I think hooked up to his computer.

It is kind of nice. It is easy to find lots of channels.

When I wanted to watch the colts game last week. I didn't know how
to find it. But I happened to go on the channel that we in our area
have the games on. I happened to post my situation. And the person
posted the link, so I got to watch the exciting part.

Default decisions about work clothes in chilly weather

I have a hard time making clothes decisions.

Wednesday will be chilly in the morning (9:00 am) when I leave for work and cold when I leave work at 9:30 p.m.

It is too hard for me to figure out the layering needed to get though that day and still look semi-professional while being comfortable.

To make it more complicated, some of my work rooms have been hot (80 degrees F) while other rooms are cold at near 70 degrees F.

. . . . stressing.

Heart

I hope that you are resting now and that you figure out your layers.
Those are temp extremes!

Indeed, Mari, the clothing can become quite a challenge when it's cold in the morning, cold at night, and warm during the day, but I often resolve using a heavier coat which I don't wear during the day. But having the variability between rooms is even worse, coz you need indoor warm stuff for that!

Good luck for tomorrow. At worst, maybe throw some extra stuff in the car so you can go fetch more/alternate coverings if what you have worn doesn't quite cut it?

Mari,
That is a very long work day.
I hope your day goes well and that you sort out your clothes to suit all the varying temps.. That's the trouble with air-cons.. They're never just right.

I always suggest to my daughter that she keeps a scarf and a light cardigan in her bag in case one of her lecture rooms is too cold. They usually are. I guess it's to keep the students awake or something. She'll sometimes come out shivering and it'll be a perfectly mild day outside.

Scarf, cardigan, coat. I find if my feet and neck are warm then I'm OK.

Hope the day goes well for you.

Tuesday I wore something non layered and was not in the freezing (70 degrees) room at all so I came home hot.

Wednesday our weather will turn chilly late afternoon and evening so I will be coming home at night (if I stay for the late meeting) perhaps not warm enough but I scan turn not the heat in the car.
I have noticed that I might be more sensitive to fluctuations in temperature (daily and throughout the day) than many colleagues.

I will keep a shawl, sweater, or scarves in my car.
(I keep a scarf in the car anyway as I do not like the a/c blowing on my neck.)

This is one of those things I think that matter much less to people not living with bipolar.

Default colder here

It is 53 degrees F at the moment (as I leave for work).
We are supposed to get up to 66.

I cannot count on the rooms being warm.
Some rooms might be warm, others might be cold.
And I have to move from room to room by going to outside stairwell.
(Many rooms open directly to outside FL style).

The good news: It is sunny and beautiful.
