I dislike humidity,and drier heat isn't likeable either. I agree with you all.
I just hate humidity though. I've heard about the humidity in Long Island,and that it is just as bad where I live. Mari You didn't have air conditioning when you were growing up!!! That must have been awful. BF

We are getting rained on very hard. The local creeks are flooding. Di. I think that it's headed your way. I'm starting to get use to the humidity. BF

We had a small earthquake in the County to the South East of me. It's magnitude was a 3.2. It was nothing like the 5.8 earthquake in 2011.
It was close to 10 PM. Things started to shake a little,and I heard a slight rumble for about 30 seconds. BF

I'm glad that it wasn't to bad. They just fixed the Washington Monument. That earthquake also broke water pipes. The one last night probably didn't hurt the water pipes at all. It's strange having earthquakes. I heard about them all of my life,but have not experienced them until recently. BF

I awoke to lawnmowers.
Then the thunder and rain came, forcing the the lawnmowers to stop. Forecast calls for rain for the next few days. |
