Hey Mari.

You're right, I was off by a couple hours.

I just looked again and I got the time messed up! Oops! I read that it started at 5.04 am my time, but turns out it was UTC which I don't think(?) accounts for daylight time. That would mean it started at 7.04 am my time, and 1.04 am your time.

I like the Summer Solstice too. Actually I like both Solstices, but Summer Solstice feels more climactic somehow.

Super Moon World Peace Prayers
8 pm in your time zone
June 23, 2013

On June 23, the full moon will be the closest to earth this year. This phenomenon is called a perigee or Super Moon. We have 3 Super Moons in 2013, with the moon on June 23 being the closest to earth.

Please join with others around the globe in holding prayers for our world at 8 o'clock in your time zone. Please pray for your own inner peace, and peace for others. Synchronized prayers are very powerful!

Full moons have historically been a time of release, and a time of letting go of darkness and negative patterns. For instance, Easter / Ostara is held annually on the Sunday following the Paschal full moon.

The Super Moon will occur at 7:32 am Eastern Time on June 23. However, since the moon is most visible at nighttime, we will synchronize our prayers at 8 pm in each time zone, with prayers circulating the world. 8 is the number of infinity and abundance, and we will release all blocks to abundance for everyone at 8 pm. Please join us in prayers for peace, protection, and release from fear.

Please circulate and share this prayer vigil widely. The more people praying in unison, the more powerful our prayers' effects.

For general reference:

The Supermoon peaks at 11:32 UTC.

To calculate the time for your area:
-- add or subtract the appropriate hours from UTC.
-- if your area does daylight savings, add one hour to that result to get your local full moon time.
