Where is my usual right arm and wrist. I don't care for this painful,
swollen, redness one. I especially don't because I don't know why. It just showed up yesterday after I was trying to take a small nap. Because of a migraine headache. And its still here. I am taking ibuprofen and benedryl. But I don't know what is up. More symptoms: swollen, redness, painful, heated or hot to touch, the fingers hurt to close. Just because of swelling. itchy. It doesn't hurt as a sprain or something would. Its more a achy and sharp at times. Donna

As we get older these things just pop up out of the blue. My poor mothers knee has a torn meniscus. It popped when they were sitting at the theatre in new york. just like that!
 I am sorry that this has come about. I hope you are thinking about going to a walk in clinic to have it looked at? I wish I had some other advice...I don't.... sigh bizi could it be a spider bite???????

|
Torn ligaments/tendons may follow use of an antibiotic family, called the Fluoroquinolones. Up to a year later or more.
Cipro, Levaquin or Avelox. We've had two male posters on NT who ruptured their bicep tendon after these antibiotics. (no strain is needed). Typically the ruptures happen with weight bearing tendons, patellar and achilles. Sorry about your mother, Bizi! Give her my regards for a swift recovery.

Thanks Everyone
I started taking ibuprofen last night instead of Tylenol. And its helped the swelling. We will see what happens with it as it goes on. But right now its much better. Donna

Hi everyone
I am so pleased with the work I've done this week. Even though not feeling the best. And I forgot to hand out the surveys. OOOPS!!! Hope its not thought to be on purpose. Seems I was talking to much about my family. Anyway I knew I needed to curb it. But 4 good endings on Monday. One yesterday, and One today. That is 6 for this week at least. Not bad for the way I've felt. Donna
