I have ionic breezes for my allergies. I clean the grids, and put them back in. If I got oil on one of those grids,or filaments,it would destroy the machine probably. They have two filaments going down the ionic breezes that attract dust. I only use water to clean the grids, and dry them, and let the rest of the moisture evaporate before I put the grids back in. I could not get into the fan spindle. I've done something right by tinkering around with it. I don't want to pat myself on the back yet,but it's doing better. The computer is about 11 years old,and something broke when I was attempting to get inside it. I vacuumed that area, and tried to put it back together, but a small plastic holder clip broke off. Now I have duct tape ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
