Default Generic Lexapro omg

Side affects!
I have had an annoying headache, but the worse is my tummy!
I'm lactose intolerant and the pharmacist didn't catch or know the covering is a cellulose coating. Miserable stomach craps and can't keep anything in. I hope the insurance will pick it up because of this. I feel so much better on it then winging it.
Don't know how long it takes to wear off? I had since Sunday I took.

The drug wears off in a day or so, but, as you know, the side effects can last longer.

How long were you on the Lexapro?
That is one of those SSRIs that can be crummy stopping.
Some people take a month or two to taper off it.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Mari,
I had been on it since 2007, than summer 2012 went off with no issues, the brand name. The Effexor I had to titter down own. It took just over three months. So I was worried. The coverage stopped paying when the generic was out and before that the tier was so high I paid $60.

I just can't be off it with the stress going on, it's just making sadness and anxiety high. I just didn't count on the side effect though for the generic.

The headache was annoying, it stopped today when I didn't take it. The tummy issues almost resolved. I had butter with clams so it hit me. I'm just going to try the brand again, or else take the Valium for spasms at least a half a day. The 5-10 mg helps with spasms and shouldn't be addictive.

My blood pressure is up and the first time in my life I have to take BP med.
Ergh,
Di

Di,

Some Blood Pressure meds cause weight gain (one of them causes Rapid Weight gain). Also many of them cause depression.
I am just reminding you to check with the pharmacy or dr's office and to be aware.

Yes, I hope that you can get the brand name.

You are used to the Valium so you know what to expect.

It sounds like you are taking care of yourself.

Now I'm not sure, I stopped the medicine for two days but everything irritates the tummy and bowel.
Gosh, it can't be the brand of baby aspirin I hope? It's two days I skipped that. I feel well, it's not a virus, but it's almost like I have norvo virus.

You know, I did have a flu like issue two years ago that went on for days. Not sure what to think......

Hi Mari,
Today was a better day. No side effects. I'm not sure what to think. I'm not going to try the generic Lexapro because of the miserable headache, I'll fill the brand on Monday.
At least the tummy is better.
