I guess that my chronotype is a night owl,but I don't consume tobacco,or alcohol.
I could be experiencing that sort of jet lag. I don't feel energetic these days. BF ![]() ![]() ![]() |

We are what we are. My doc wants me to switch to day shift, but being flaky, the others on that shift seem to have an issue. Ironic that being day shift would improve my mental status.
I always thought I was a night owl til I had a job that started 7 am, for awhile. That's when I discovered I wasn't a true night owl, just a person who thrived getting up around 430am...and when I slept, it was well, which my shift work never allowed. I wonder how many others like me might be out there, thinking they are born night owls but who really are better off being in bed at 830 pm and up at 430 am? |

Nice to know its not just bad behavior that makes me go to bed late and have trouble getting up in the am

I only wish that were the case. The shift was temporary. Back to getting home about 3 hours before the sun gets up! Worst possible shift for people with mood disorders. Stable, not really. Hanging on by my teeth to sanity.
