Thanks I am. Its hard to deal with when it happens. It has
always helped me to be able to type out. Even if its not making
sense to anyone but me. What is distressing me.

Devin also admitted he is very depressed. He doesn't have insurance
right now. So he doesn't exactly know how to get help. He is looking
into Medicaid, since its just been changed to him having control of
Will's. And the SSI office got a visit yesterday.

Baby steps were necessary so his mom felt comfortable enough, letting
Devin control things. She gets some of the money they get. Because
Devin is a good guy.

But I did tell him to make a appt. with his regular doctor. And if he needed help money wise we would help him. My husband was here when I was
telling him that. So I know he will too.

Then we will work on a therapist, because there is one on a sliding scale.
I think he needs to get his schedule for sleeping set first. Since he is
on 3rd shift.

Hi, its very upsetting in my home tonight.

Derrick was laid off today, because he supposedly didn't turn in a request
for the weekend off. I know he did but can't prove it. And he doesn't
want anyone involved.

Ugh, husband is wanting to sue, and everything. I'm not around to
calm him down. And Derrick doesn't want to do it.

Isn't he wrroking at the animal shelter? I thought they liked him -- it seemed like he did so well there.

Have they given him trouble because of his disability, do you think? Is that why your husband is wanting to ssue (I don't blame him).

You know, even if he hadn't turned in the request (which it sounds like someone "lost"), I don't see that would be grounds for dismissal! Maybe at most a reprimand/warning.

I think the guy got around dismissal, by laying him off.

We will see, I decided to send a email. That they should
call my husband if they wanted to see him or anything.

Gosh we have worked so hard, so he didn't miss any days
because of my accident. Ugh.

Now I got a email, saying that he was fired for not filling out a request for time off form. I will have to see what Derrick turned in.

Also that he took himself off the weekend schedule without telling anyone.

If he did, then it was because none of the supervisors were there when he was.
But I've never known him to do that without at least telling me.

I am frustrated more because of not being able to do anything to help him.

But he will be fine. And have located something new soon.
