They said it would warm up again on the weekend. Maybe more days in the 80's. Really starting to wonder about going out to the beach (might not). Daytona's freaking cold when it's like this.

But I wanted to touch the ocean.

waves,

Go touch the ocean if you can.

Living on the Pacific, I was always sorry I didn't dip my toes in the Atlantic. I got close, but not close enough.

Awww! I hope you might still get the opportunity.

The first time I went to the West Coast, I went to the seaside. My host was a beach person I guess, so took me to the beach the only night I was passing through. We only stayed maybe an hour tops between the dock and seaside, but I did get to touch the water, which was really cool. It was even better being there at night, in the quiet.

On another trip I got to bathe, too. Wow. That's some big water! I don't know how else to describe it. I grew up on the Atlantic side, in reef-sheltered waters mostly, very calm.

I love having the animals playing in my back yard. My dh and I were just laughing how last year my grandson was along the woods in the yard at night. He heard a noise, grunt and looked face to face with a deer. He left out a howl and his feet took off so fast it reminded us of the cartoons where they spin.

He still freaks about walking between the two home after dark.
Keep warm everyone!

RAin all day today supposed to be in the low 70s it is 65 right now and light rain. May bring us rain all day with inches accumulation then during the week back to cold weather for us night time lows in the 20's.....burr!
It is weird that downtown south bend IN had record breaking snow more than a foot while other places( in south bend) had a dusting of snow. weird!

Yep Bizi,
They had to call in volunteers to get the Norte Dame Stadium ready for
the football game. Friday, and again I think on Saturday.

Its very cool here in my neck of the woods. We had snow sticking on
Thursday night. But now its just flurries again.

I hate this weather, ready for summer or spring again.

Dear Donna,

Careful what you wish for... you might just get it.

42C (that's 107.6F) Sat and 43C (109.4F) in my town on Sat and Sun.
Not even Summer yet.

I had to leave my home and go closer to the coast so I wouldn't collapse.
I imagine when I get home I'll find all my candles have melted inside my house. It would have been around 50C (122F)in the house.

This is not natural! ugh

If we could only even it all out. I saw some of the temp gizmos here at NT yesterday in the 20F and 30F and I thought it might be more bearable if we could all meet halfway.

We have a cooler day today thank goodness!

Default cool weather

It is going to be cool tonight: mid or high 50s.

I have to perhaps rethink what I am wearing to work tomorrow / Wednesday.
