Four degrees,and going down. I have plenty of heat inside. I hope that my car doesn't crack anywhere due to the cold temperatures. When It's this cold,matter,and molecules in nature contract. BF

The temperature went down to -1 degrees early this morning. BF

Wow Steve, that is crazy for the south. Mari too, so unusual, I feel bad for you both.we get use to it up here. Funny when it got up to 11* today it felt warm. It was -14* last night and back down tonight again.

It's 7* in the city! but only 1* tonight. The pipes continue to freeze even with the water running. This time was the pipe to the washer.

Snow storm from the Midwest making its way in for tomorrow, Saturday.
Steve I hope this is the last of it! March can't get here soon enough.

Hi Di. Yes. I'm not use to this. It's 7 degrees at about 12:57 AM. I'm concerned about the plastic tubes in the car near the engine. I do have anti-freeze in the container near the motor. The weather people are saying that we are going to get some snow,and freezing rain tomorrow. Not to much though. BF

Steve, my car has performance tires on it, terrible in snow. It has sat incased in ice at below zero and sub freezing for over a week and it's okay. My grandson left me rear car door ajar two weeks ago and the battery was dead, but my son put the charger on it. I thought for sure the battery wouldn't turn over yesterday in single digits but it did fine. I don't use washer fluid in my window washer fluid, I put in antifreeze type stuff and the radiator has antifreeze in it.
So if only I had snow tires I could go someplace.

No, this cold I try not to go out. I do have to work on Monday, we will take my husbands car as it has four wheel and I'm working in the Poconos. It's back an off road lane, and will be single digits. Yuck!

Hope all is well, and the warm up melts away the mess tomorrow for you. Still snowing up here, but it will go above freezing, I pray.

Really haven't enjoyed the - numbers here. Its to return tomorrow.

Not sure how many days we had close to 10 to 15 degree days.
RIght now for us that is warm.

I've had a cold and not gone hardly anywhere. That will change
tomorrow. The lady Derrick stays with during the weeks, Grandmother
is really bad. She has been in the hospital with pneumonia for a week
now. They aren't expecting her to live. I have a feeling this is
going to be a really rough week for my friend.

Her parents died very young. And she was raised by her grandmother.
