I'd have to go to the urgent care. But I'm pretty sure they wouldn't prescribe anything. My husband has sounded bad, and congested for quite a while.
His is different. Before this time, he would have told me to wait it out. So I'm not too sure if I would go if it would help. Mainly coughing and not sure why. No congestion or anything from what I can tell. It could be my asthma, but if it is its not bad. Donna

I've had a pretty nasty sounding cough for over a month. Smoking and post-nasal drip are perpetuating it. It's productive, but not funky in color and I don't have a fever or chest pain so I don't need to see an MD. Taking something OTC would clear it up, but I'm so afraid to take anything with the meds I'm on and because my bp is so brittle. I think I'm going to buy something when I hit the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions though. It's been long enough.

I don't think mucinex cough would mess with your meds.

Mucinex is the only thing I take over the counter.
Otherwise I tough it out or see the PCP -- I take honey sometimes -- in case it has some anti-botic or anti-viral properties. -- Can you do a neti pot? My PCP told me to do that, but I just put my face and a towel over boiling water. M |

I think I'm probably going to buy mucinex cough as you suggested. I think I'll be okay as long as I don't get the nighttime kind.
I just don't have the sx necessary for a trip to my PCP. I think he used to prescribe Tussinex (?) which has codeine in it. I would never take that because of the seroquel. |

My cough and cold is much better. Its gotten better over the weekend.

Today
Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. 30 mph winds is pretty windy! miss our friend. (((((HUGS)))))) bizi

I miss him too, and am hoping he is doing okay
It sounds like beautiful weather aside from the wind. It's been in the low high 50's-60's, but we've been getting plenty of sunshine
