Hello everyone

Derrick is headed back to the place he is staying while going to school.
We will wait to see how he does this week. His strength is still
not back I can tell.

Me too.

My grandson has been on fall break and spent the weekend with his other
grandma. And today. Yah, I still haven't felt the best. But am hopefully
getting better.

Now if I could just solve the problem of someone he could spend a few
hours with before school starts next Monday and Tuesday while I
will be out of town for our Volunteer Conference and Inservice.

Ugh, we just need to locate some alternatives. But I know with
his dad having to be at work at 6am its not helping.

I did ask my husband if he would either go in about 1 hour late.
Or take the days off, put his grandson on the bus. And then work
on taxes. Still waiting for a answer.

Well we had snow, not sticking of course. But with that and the
wind and sleety rain. We had a awful looking halloween out there.

Derrick did not get to set up his table. His choice to start with
a finish of me agreeing. He did take some of his treats to the
workers around town that he enjoys and knows. For their kids.

We also ran across some kids at Dollar General and got to give
some of them some too. It made his day.

I had posted on Facebook, that if they knew where we lived to
stop by. Because he wasn't going to get to set up his table.
We had 3 different sets stop by. WHich is not usual for us at this
house. We usually get none. Because we have a light that
only comes on with things or people at our house.

Donna,

That is crummy weather for Halloween when people want to be out and about.

'Good that you were able to give away the candy the next morning.

Donna,

You seem to be the one keeping track of people and making sure that they are where they need to be.

You could be a taxi driver or a tour conductor.

I wish you were a foreman too so that you could line everyone up
and tell them what they need to be doing so that you can
keep things working out for everyone.

Take care.

Heehee, I would not make a good taxi driver.
Reason I'm direction-ally challenged. I got lost in Indy last weekend
trying to get to the hotel, then the place we were going on Tuesday.

I'm sure that if the directions had been a little better I would have done
better. But I also didn't like the fact we were at the hotel with 4 hotels
all Marriott's. And the idiot at the front desk didn't even look up
my name. And sent me to another, when I was at the right one.

Yesterday we went to Bowling at Crawfordsville. Both boys had a great
time. Will got a second and wont go to state because he was bowling
in a Ramp lane. But that is okay.

Then I saw very little of Derrick's games. But will hopefully get to
watch at Indy. He also got a 2nd. He bowled with 2 of his teammates
and another. And I guess they were so close the top three. Him
and his teammates, any of the three could have been first, second and
third. Only 1st and 2nd go on. So I am kind of glad the 3rd place is
the girl that is going to National Games. Because I guess she is headed
to another state for practice that weekend, on Sunday. So she will
not mind missing as much. If my Grandson had made State I might
have seen if she could be his helper.
