So sorry you are in pain....  Thank you for letting us know. sorry that you will have to have surgery. ARe you able to get around with the splints on? I think about you in the wheel chair after surgery....... ((((((HUGS))))) bizi

I am working on getting a power chair. *sigh* I hate it, but I need to let go of the manual chair use. It's probably what's done this to me and therefore if I returned to it it would only reinjure my wrists. *sigh* So, if all goes well they will succeed in getting me at least a loaner rental in time for the surgery. The first surgery...The right, I will need to heal from before getting the second one on the left.
I am not too worried about how kiddo and Jack will be, with taking care of me, it's not so much that as I am just upset that I will NEED that kind of help. Oh well, I will get through it.

Gosh, I didn't think about that, but pushing yourself around with your arms and wrists like that could surely be a problem. It's hard work.

Still no power chair, hoping it happens before the surgery. Been having bad pain this week. Hoping it gets better after surgery. Just wanted to check in and thank you all for caring. ♥

So, *sigh* we scheduled surgery, carpal release. God I hope it helps, the right is REALLY unbearable. And the left isn't much better. He said he'd NEVER ever do both wrists on someone-so that means 2 separate surgeries....I am in a world of pain until this is all over. I might be scarce for a couple months, just letting you all know. I am wearing splints now, pretty much all the time I can tolerate it. Will keep you posted when I am able. Surgery is in early march.
