I am so happy!
I finally went to home depot and found some shade loving impatience, big planter of them!
So I have some pretty flowers to admire every time I go out to my car. Comings and goings!
Went to the gym and am very happy to say that my left hip is as normal as can be. Not a twinge!
The only thing that bothered me was my right big toe from the prior injury. It started bothering me toward the end of my hour on the arc trainer. I sweat a little so got some cardio work out. wonder how long I should stay on the arc and when I could try jogging again? Wednesday will be 2 weeks from the original onset of "injury". I say it that way because I did not do anything differently. IT was a mysterious injury....which means it can happen again...sigh
anyway I am going to take a shower and get ready to go back to susans, hopefully go out to dinner if she will let me pay. I am lazy.
I don't feel like cooking.
let me get into the shower.

still smiling because I found some shade loving plants!!!!!!

the toe bone is connected to the... hip bone?

Bizi, I had a thought.

Your left hip might have started bothering you because of the prior injury to your right toe. :D

Sounds kinda crazy, right? Well, you've mentioned that toe hurting now on several occasions, so I'm thinking you may have have developed an antalgic gait, whereby you shift your weight unevenly towards the side opposite side. It could be mild enough not to cause problems during daily activities, but with the amount of training you've been doing, and mostly in footwork, it could cause noticeable strain (and pain!) in other areas, including the opposite hip.

I'd encourage you to sort out if there is anything you can do to prevent pain to that toe... thicker socks, between-toe padding, change in shoes, whatever might work to alleviate your specific toe pain. It might avoid an eventual cascade of problems during training.

Anyway, just something to think about.

I'm glad you found some pretty flowers to decorate with, that you can see in your comings and goings. :):)

I hope you sleep well at her place.

Even good meds don't work miracles when the depression is very bad. It takes some time, and rest, even with meds.

This was the person who stopped teaching, right, because she felt she couldn't get through the semester? But now she has 3 part-time jobs? That's a TON of pressure. I don't see how any severely depressed person, or person recovering from depression, could handle that. I could barely handle getting up in the morning. :(

Has she had any convalescence time? Some complete rest, say for a month?

Couldn't she take a break from working temporarily, maybe just keep the symphony job -- I assume that is a passion for her, so it might help her even if there is some pressure.

No thougths,

did want to say hi. And I think Waves is on to something with your hip and
toe.

I know when my leg hurts more, I have problems with other parts of body.

Not sure why they are connected. But will work on this too, since I need
to figure out somethings.

Thanks Waves.

thanks you guys.
That is an interesting thought about my toe and my hip.
I am so happy that my left hip is no longer an issue or so it seems. Will just do the arc trainer again monday and then test the waters on jogging on wednesday.

Yes my girl friend is the one who quit teaching. She went to a day program monday thru friday from 9-2 for at least 5 weeks. Not sure how helpful it was.
It gave her some structure and a reason to get out of bed.
Her part time jobs are:
1. framing at hobby lobby 20 hours per week.
2. unknown if she still has a job at the nursery.
3. symphony is once a month with rehersals before the performance.

help all sorts of computer problems....:(
audio pop ups, high lighted words here that go to spam links...
connecting issues. hesitation....awful....sigh
bizi
kaspersky computer scan says everything is fine but.....
we are having major problems!

waves 05-18-2015 11:49 AM

ADWARE and possibly malware too. I have a reference for something you can try.... will go back through emails and get back to you in a sec...

If you can't get to the bottom of it fast, I'd take it to someone (a shop, or a friend) who can dx and fix it. Some things may require manual intervention.

Jefff has a colleague that is a computer guy, he is going to ask him to help us.
the green round connecting icon keeps going round and round and then freezes and can't do anything until it unfreezes, still going round and round.
sigh thanks for any help.
