I can't tell. It doesn't seem to be getting worse. One side seems to be a little more swollen and another side seems to be a little less swollen. He didn't tell me how long to keep the compress on. I do it til it is no longer warm. I hope that is right

I think the bump is going down a little with the swelling. I have another week to soak the eyelid with a warm compress. i am hoping he doesn't have to cut it.

i looked at it again and now i am not sure if it went down. he gave me instructions in case i need an operation. he would use eye drops and then an injection..didn't make me feel like a happy camper with the injection part.

I'm going to tell you the absolute truth, Bobby:
I'd probably be in the BR every hour or so staring at my eye, and I would be re-reading the surgery instructions he gave me over and over. By doing this I would be driving up my anxiety, and driving myself nuts. If you're inclined to do it, please don't do it to yourself. You might not notice it's getting better if you're looking at it too often. The surgery is an IF. Keep up with the warm compresses. Just because it hasn't gone away doesn't mean he won't be satisfied with the progress you've made by the time you get to the office. Kay |
