this is the first time. he was a civil engineer. he said he would like to get together to talk and i said starbucks. i feel sort of weird about this. he seemed nice

i was the one who suggested starbucks. he called me tonite and wanted to know if he could see me tonite. i said i was tired. he is going away to florida for the weekend so we will try to get together next week. i am really nervous about it.
bobby i got really uptight when i didn't get a response from my friend alice to my email. i sent her another one asking if she was all right. she answered fast and said she was very busy but would write to me later.I told her to take her time. i felt so relieved....i was imagining the worse because she pushes herself so hard. |

Mari's right, it's easier to have a cup of coffee with someone because there's a quicker exit (if you want one).

we sat together at the senior center on thursday and now i think i opened a can of worms. he is nice but i don't think i am interested. we talked a lot about politics which i am interested in. He seemed to assume too much in general and i felt a little closed in. I don't know what to do. this is also making me depressed.
bobby my friend alice at the senior center just adopted a kitty cat. her other kitty cat died a couple of months ago. this ones name is barbara but she is going to call her bobby! |

he called me today. i didn't go to the senior center because i didn't want to run into him. he said could i meet him now and i said that i was resting and had a doctor's appt later. he asked if he could see me tonite and i said no.

No, you're not. Be on guard always. There are too many people who would gladly do you harm without a second thought. My best friend, who was bi-polar and in an institution had a "friend" like that. He used her for $$$ and sex. Be careful.
