The meetings must be very stressful, especially if you are concerned about your performance.

hoping you are feeling better soon!

i am sorry. can you take an extra klonopin? I wonder if that would help or make you more sleepy.

I had a colleague about ten years ago who had an episode at work and was hauled away in an ambulance.
A year or so later she quit/was fired.

When she died about three years ago, I called one of her sisters because the sister had left word with the secretary that she wanted to talk to co-workers about her sister (the ex-colleague.)

Heart (((( Mari ))))

(((( Mari ))))

It's quite unsettling when we feel we might do something we don't want to do, especially in important settings, where we may suffer some scary consequences.

I'd suffered quite a concussion just over two years ago. I have had to stay on Depakote since because I would, at anytime, become very agitated and would say things that I have never said to people, ever... until things had changed. Most of the time, I was mortified with how enraged I was -- suddenly -- and with what I had said. I was desperate to regain control of myself. Thankfully, the Depakote has brought me back into being more calm, the way I have been all of my life. I hope it will continue to work for me.

My point being, it's very anxiety-provoking to feel we may not always have total control of ourselves.

Thinking of you, Mari.

Holy crap.
I don't blame you.
But try not to focus on that, as hard as it may be. It's just added pressure that you don't need right now.

I've read that a lot of people get terrible side effects from Lamictal...
But I take 200mg bid and everything else under the sun and I guess I'm in the clear. I wish it was the same for you.

Hang in there,
Kay

Default Pill minder

For this week I have in my pill minder to take Lamictal doses every other day
25/37/25/37/24/37/25

I hope that I made a good decision

I have for a few months been doing the Verapamil at half doses every other day and full amounts the other days.
120/240/120/240/ . . . . .

=======
Work went well Monday even on 2.5 hours of sleep. I was so delighted -- felt great about how I handled things and the students seemed eager/earnest and also pleased with my goofy casual style (a style I have perfected over the years).

I gave them HomeWork that is due online Tuesday night.

Goofy -- like a touch of Columbo -- pretending I do not know what I am up to, esp with regard to the computer and other electronics in the room.
Also, I interrupt myself on purpose.

It disarms them and seems to relax them (lessens their anxiety) and leads them to trust me when I need them to be straight up major serious about something.

(And that personae allows me to keep my job. I cannot play it straight anymore -- maybe I never could.)
