I wrote this on July 18:

I am cutting the Lamictal in half for Sunday and Monday and hoping for the best.

Today I increased the Lamitical without paying attention and because the bottles are veery very confusing.
I am not sure how much I increased it
because I am too depressed to think:

Beginning July 19, I was talking 1 1/2 pills that are labeled as

25 mgs each, which at 1.5 pills was 36 mgs.

This is what I took tonight.

25 mgs Lamital --- bottle says each pill is 5 mgs
1/2 half pill --bottle says pills are each 100 mgs
I am guessing that I took 75 mgs !!!!

Looks like I took more than I intended.

I highlighted the 1/2 half pill part.

Do you mean you took 1/2 of a half pill already broken - a 1/4 of a whole pill of 100mg?
If so that is 25mg.

Maybe that was a typo

This is what the bottle of second pill says:
Take 1 tablet by mouth daily at bedtime
Lamotrigine 100 mg Tablet 30 tablets.

The 100 mgs tablet was scored. I cut the 100 in half.

Oh, okay, so you took a half not a quarter. I just needed to check.

Well if you took a half of 100mg (50mg) on top of 5 tablets of 5mg( 25mg)
You've taken 75mg as you thought.

Heck, what were you supposed to take?
Is this bad??

These tablets are triangle and scored. It would be very difficult to cut them into quarters and be able to figure out a dosage.

Yes.
1 the doc increased the dose all by himself --- I have been taking 50 per day for a long time-- two or three years now
2 I started getting 50 from the side effects -- increased sleepiness/hungover-ness and paresthesia and formication -- so it was necessary to decrease it two weeks ago.

One day will not be so bad. But Sunday will be a lost day -- not much work accomplished that is due on Monday.

I wish you could find a better doctor and pharmacy set up.

I slept 7 hours. That is good.

I feel hungoverover and have wormy things in one of my ears.
