Your pain med will interfere with the Cymbalta? Never heard of such a thing. Pain in the backside pharmacy! You are in pain for crying out loud! With the amount of anti-ds I am on, seratonin is up and down on me and my pharmacy doesn't seem to worry.
Unfortunately you can't fight them, only the doctor can. Hope you feel better soon.

HH - That is the antibiotic I got too - Keflex. Today is day 5 of taking it.

I am feeling better today finally, hope it lasts through the day.

I will find out tomorrow if my DR. says it is okay to take the migraine med, since I don't need to take it everyday the pharmacy said it might be okay. The interaction is too much seratonin, because I take Cymbalta daily. But, I used the samples and was fine. So, I guess the pharmacy is just taking precautions.

The pain med is the oxycontin, that we have talked about, 10 mgs every 12 hours. Which so far is working for my c-spine/back pain issues. I don't feel any like I am taking anything that makes me feel high or anything with it, I guess that is when people do not use it as directed.

Praying the cat scan tomorrow is normal.

FBW - it is the migraine med that they say is an interation with my Cymbalta.

Hugs, Nikko

Nikko
I'm so glad you are feeling better today. I also hope the cat scan goes good tomorrow.

I am wondering which medicine for migraines he prescribed that might interfer with the cymbalta, I'm also on cymbalta.

I just started something new as a medicine for prevention of migraines to help the topamax I take daily. It is also helping my high blood pressure.

I've got to say its already helping.

I think I am losing it. Now I am not sure if they said the Cymbalta or Lamictal that would interfere, because my DR did say something about me talking to my p-doc about topomax instead of lamictal with this migraine med, but she didn't make a big deal about it. A bell just went off in my head when I read the post from Dmom about topomax.

The pharmacy said one of them, but if I didn't have to take the migraine med everyday it would probably be okay.

Sorry, I have been so sick and in pain, I must of screwed it up on which med they were talking about.

I will find out today. Have to get ready to go for the cat scan.

So far - so good, feeling even better today as far as the sinus/ear pain. Still taking the antibiotics.

I'll get it straight once the pharmacy and Dr talk, plus I will call my Dr. after my cat scan.

Hugs, Nikko

Nikko

Its according to what you take the lamictal for? I take topamax and really like it. I am doing really well with migraines on it. But needed to go higher,
and the balance doctor chose to add a medicine for both the high blood pressure and the migraine instead of another increase in the topamax.

And I'm seeing he made a very good chose for me. I'm seeing a good change already. He added veraplavin or something like that.

Well, the pharmacy filled the migraine med after calling my dr, but the co-pay was $60.00, ahhhhhhhh I said I cannot afford that.

So, I called my Dr. got her assistant, she is on vacation this week, well for now I will take the furiocet as I have been, until she can talk to my Dr. or one of her associates and explain my situation. I should know something by Thursday. Thank God I have some furiocet left over. To top it off, I got a killer ear/headache last night AGAIN. Still on the antibiotics anyway, and the nasonex.

I called my prescription insurance company, and the only migraine med that is only a 30.00 co-pay is Imitrex 5mg spray.

The cat scan was fast and easy, but won't know anything for a few days, plus it is a holiday week, and my Dr. isn't in to give me the results anyway. This whole situation is enough to give anyone a migraine.

I was feeling so good, but BAM last night I was back in the same boat.

Didn't sleep well AT ALL last night. Leaving this afternoon for our little getaway until Thursday, I hope I can stay pain free.

The heat here is between 109-114, so that probably isn't helping, since I went grocery shopping yesterday. Going from extreme heat to AC.

I must have some infection or allergy that is compounding these headaches/migraines. Plus the ear pain, OMG is awful.

I am thinking about a ears, nose and throat Dr. for the ear/eye pain. If all else fails. Using the ear drops that are supposed to stop ear pain, but the drops don't seem to get all the way into my ear.

Anyway, Happy 4th of July to all.

Nikko

What was the migraine medicine. If you don't mind my asking. Because
its also possible that you could get the company that makes it to send you some coupons so that the co-pay would come down to something you can afford. Or that we could figure out something else.

Lets work on this.

don't forget you can always ask your doc for samples, too. I started my new job at a docs' office about six weeks ago, and you wouldn't believe the amount of samples that go outa there.
